This case studies the installation of seven 10.2kW residential solar power systems in Honiara, aimed at improving electricity reliability in areas affected by frequent power outages.
Project Name: Installation of 7 Sets of 10.2kW Residential Solar Power Systems
Project Date: July 2025
Project Type: Residential Solar Power Systems Project
Project Location: Honiara, Solomon Islands
System Quantity: 7 complete residential solar power systems

Installation site of residential solar power system in Solomon Islands
Residential areas in Honiara have long experienced unstable grid power, with outages affecting daily living and construction project delivery schedules. To improve power reliability for newly developed residential properties, a local real estate and construction company began evaluating off-grid solar power solutions.
The customer learned about Anern’s solar power systems through a long-term Anern client who had previously deployed similar systems and provided positive operational feedback.
The customer outlined several core requirements for the project:
Stable electricity supply independent of the public grid
Adequate capacity for residential household loads
Reliable energy storage to support nighttime and outage scenarios
Proven system components with clear installation standards
Following a site assessment and load evaluation, Anern’s engineering team proposed a customized residential solar solution.
Each of the seven residential solar power systems includes the following configuration:
Solar Panels:
18 × 580W N-type bifacial monocrystalline solar panels
1 × Anern EVO 10.2kW inverter
Energy Storage:
3 × wall-mounted LPB-N 51.2V 200Ah lithium batteries
Additional Components:
Mounting racks, power cables, circuit breakers, and system protection devices
This configuration was designed to balance power generation, energy storage, and system safety for residential use.
Installation was carried out in residential areas of Honiara, following standard electrical and solar installation practices.
Key steps included:
Proper orientation and mounting of bifacial solar panels
Secure installation of wall-mounted lithium battery units
Inverter wiring, grounding, and protection configuration
Full system testing prior to handover
All systems were commissioned successfully and entered normal operation shortly after installation.
Since commissioning, the installed solar power systems have been operating stably:
Residential users experienced a significant reduction in power interruptions
The systems provided continuous electricity during grid outages
Battery storage ensured reliable nighttime power supply
The customer confirmed that system performance met project expectations
The deployment effectively addressed the issue of frequent power outages in the project area.
In July 2025, seven 10.2kW residential solar power systems were installed in Honiara, Solomon Islands.
Each system includes 580W bifacial solar panels, an EVO 10.2kW inverter, and lithium battery storage.
The project was initiated by a real estate and construction company to improve power reliability.
All systems were installed, commissioned, and are operating normally.
