Project Background

Many East African countries, including Kenya, face persistent challenges related to insufficient and unstable power supply. Rapid population growth and increasing residential electricity demand have placed significant pressure on existing grid infrastructure.

At the same time, Kenya benefits from abundant solar resources, making solar energy a practical and sustainable alternative to traditional coal-fired power generation.

Local residential area managers began exploring off-grid solar solutions to:
