Detailed Description of Solar Power System Structure and Configuration
     Solar power system consists of solar panel, solar controller, batteries, if the output power is 220V AC or 110V AC, also need to configure the inverter. 

On-Grid Solar Power System

The role of each component as follows:
Solar panel:
     Solar panel is the core part of solar power system, also the highest part of the whole system worth. The function is convert the sun’s radiation to electrical energy, or stored in batteries, or promote the work load. Quality and cost of solar panels will directly determine the quality and cost of the whole system.


Solar controller:
     Solar controller's role is to control the working status of the entire system, and play a battery charge protection, over-discharge protection role. In a large temperature difference place, a qualified controller should have temperature compensation function. Other additional function such as light control switch, time control switch should be the controller options.

     Lead-acid batteries is generally, small micro-system, also used nickel metal hydride batteries, nickel cadmium batteries or lithium batteries. The function is store the electrical energy from the solar panel,      and re-release when you need.

     On many occasions, we need to provide 220VAC, 110VAC power, because of the direct solar energy output are generally 12VDC, 24VDC, 48VDC, in order to provide power to 220VAC appliances, we need to convert the DC energy from solar power system into AC electrical energy., so the DC-AC inverter is using. In some cases, the need to use a variety of load voltage, also use DC-DC inverter. Such as converting the 24VDC power into 5VDC electrical energy. (Note that is not a simple buck)
